The World: Barcelona - MPG hands Buceta new role as global print head

Media Planning Group has appointed German Luis Buceta (pictured) to the newly created position of global head of print media. He will be responsible for the management, media buying and negotiations with publishing houses around the world.

He is moving to MPG from Publicitas Spain, where he was managing director in charge of the advertising business of the publishing companies Time, Axel Springer and Telegraph Group.

Juan Bascones, the chief buying officer at MPG, said: "Buceta's international and pan-regional experience will be an asset and we look forward to consolidating and improving our relationship with the main publishing companies."
