The World: Beijing - Ad agency heads sign up to develop creative talent

The Art Directors Club, a group established in New York in 1920 to encourage and evolve creativity in advertising, is launching an arm in China.

Based in Beijing, the organisation will aim to develop young creative talents in China, emphasising the avenues open to students for a career in advertising.

Five well-known agency heads have been appointed as ambassadors to help launch the organisation, including Dan Mintz, the founder and chief creative officer of DMG; Amir Kassaei, the president of the Art Directors Club Germany and chief creative officer of DDB Group Germany; and Kevin Lee, the executive creative director of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising.
