The World: Beijing - China Telecom rolls out $14.6 million creative review

China Telecom has called a review of its $14.6 million creative business.

The incumbent, Changrong, is thought to be among the six agencies involved in the pitch process, which also includes Euro RSCG, Bates, Leo Burnett and Beijing Advertising.

China Telecom serves 216 million customers, making it the largest fixed-service telecoms provider in the country. As part of a state-mandated restructuring of the country's telecom sector, the company is poised to acquire China Unicom's CDMA business and network.
