The World: Beijing - Iris appoints King to strengthen presence in Asia

Iris, the global integrated marketing network, has named David King as its regional chief executive for China, as the agency focuses on strengthening its presence in Asia.

King, who is currently the managing director of Rapp China, part of the DDB China Group, will take up the position in early December, reporting to the global chief executive, Ian Millner.

He will be based in Shanghai, and will be responsible for overseeing the agency's client base in the region - in particular, the Sony Ericsson business across Greater China, which will be serviced out of the Beijing office launched earlier this year.
