The World: Beirut - Time Out goes monthly via licensing deal with JAPS

Time Out is launching a monthly edition in Beirut through the local publisher JAPS.

The title, with an initial print run of 20,000, aims to capitalise on the city's economic and cultural resurgence.

Naomi Sargeant, the publisher and commercial director, said: "Time Out Beirut will gather everything that is going on in the city and inject some pride into the creative people who keep Beirut alive."

Time Out is now produced under licence in Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Bucharest, Cyprus, Dubai, Istanbul, Mexico, Moscow, Mumbai, Shanghai, St Petersburg and Tel Aviv.
