The World: Berlin - JCDecaux boosts stake in Wall to majority holding

JCDecaux has increased its stake in Wall, the Berlin-based out-of-home advertising agency, from 40 per cent to 90.1 per cent.

The French outdoor advertising company increased its share by purchasing the stake held by Hans Wall, the company's founder.

The remaining 9.9 per cent of shares will continue to be held by Daniel Wall, the agency's chief executive.

Last year, Wall reported total revenues of EUR114.7 million, helping it to become the second-largest outdoor advertising company in Germany.

The company currently holds nearly 62,000 advertising panels, and has long-term contracts in cities including Berlin, Dusseldorf and Dortmund.
