The World: Boston - Glenn Engler takes the helm at Digitas headquarters

Digitas, the Publicis Groupe-owned digital network, has promoted Glenn Engler to the position of president of its Boston headquarters.

Engler fills the gap left by the departure of Torrence Boone, who left to run WPP's Enfatico agency in June. Engler was previously the executive vice-president and led accounts such as General Motors and XM. He will continue to work on those accounts in addition to his new responsibilities, covering the network's operations in Boston, Atlanta and Detroit.
