The World: Bucharest - BBC Magazines set to launch Romanian Good Food

BBC Magazines is launching Good Food in Romania. It will be its first international version of the title.

The magazine will be published in conjunction with Media Sport Group, which launched Top Gear in Romania earlier in the year. Good Food will have 132 pages, with a third of the content originating from local sources.

James Hewes, the global licensing manager at BBC Magazines, said: "The explosive growth of the economies in Eastern Europe has created a large and growing middle class. This has created a great opportunity for a mid-market food title such as Good Food."
