The World: Chicago - Anheuser-Busch to open in-house production arm

Anheuser-Busch is launching an in-house content-creation business.

The US's largest brewer is creating a film and TV production company that will make comedy shorts and sitcoms to be broadcast via the internet and mobiles.

The Anheuser-Busch vice-president for creative development, Jim Schumacher, has been moved into the new production group, while Michael Gianino, a senior director for branded entertainment, has been assigned to a unit dedicated to the production of online content.
