The World: Chicago - Consultants drafted in to oversee Porsche review

Porsche, the sports car manufacturer, has called in consultants to manage the review of its $25 million North American account.

The company hopes to consolidate its creative and media assignments within a single agency.

Creative work is currently produced by the Interpublic-owned Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, while media goes through Kastner & Partners in Los Angeles.

The review is being overseen by the consultants Ann Billock and Russel Wohlwerth. The pair left A-Team Advertising Advisors earlier this month to form their own consultancy, with offices in Los Angeles and New York. Wohlwerth said the decision was motivated by conflict issues that arose because the company represented both agencies and clients.
