The World: Chicago - Discover Financial Services holds $80m review

The credit-card company Discover Financial Services, part of the Morgan Stanley Group, has put its $80 million creative account up for review.

The pitch will be run by Margaret Georgiadis, Discover's chief marketing officer, who joined the company from McKinsey & Co in September last year.

The incumbent, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, resigned the business in order to pitch for the Visa USA account, which was won by TBWA\Chiat\Day this week.

The business almost moved in July 2004, when Discover Financial Services invited Leo Burnett to pitch ideas for the account. However, the company eventually decided to retain the incumbent.
