The World: Chicago - Modernista lands Cadillac roster position

Cadillac has appointed the Chicago-based independent agency Modernista to its above-the-line roster, taking business from Leo Burnett.

Modernista will now handle creative duties on the car-maker's SRX, CTS and V-Series models, worth around $100 million in billings. Burnett will continue to work on the Escalade, XLR, DTS and STS lines, also worth around $100 million.

The move comes just a week after Cadillac appointed Liz Vanura to the position of vice-president of marketing. She was formerly the head of marketing for General Motors' Hummer brand, which is also handled by Modernista.
