The World: Chicago Young & Rubicam picks up $70m Miller task

Young & Rubicam has landed Miller Brewing's $70 million Genuine Draft account.

The business was previously handled by The Martin Agency in Virginia.

Miller has raised its spend on Genuine Draft considerably over the past six months, spending $35 million in the first half of this year, compared with $20 million for the whole of 2005.

Young & Rubicam will begin work on extending Genuine Draft's current "Beer. Grown up" campaign, which began last year with an execution showing a group of male drinkers upgrading from plastic cups to proper beer glasses.
