The World: Detroit - George Rogers takes lead on WPP's Team Detroit

George Rogers has been named the chief executive of Team Detroit, a joint venture of six WPP agencies in the city that all work on the Ford business.

He will report to Satish Korde, who runs the Ford business globally for WPP. He will also remain as the president of JWT's Detroit agency.

In January this year, the holding company combined JWT, Ogilvy & Mather, Young & Rubicam, Wunderman, MindShare and Mediaedge:cia under the Team Ford banner. The name was changed to Team Detroit soon after.
