The World: Detroit - Grey out of Chrysler pitch due to conflict with Ford

Grey Advertising, the WPP-owned creative agency, has been forced to withdraw from pitching for the Chrysler Group advertising account, following pressure from Ford.

Despite Grey not working on any elements of the Ford business, it has been suggested that by pitching for the Chrysler account, the agency may be putting WPP's relationship with Ford under threat.

Grey was to pitch for Chrysler towards the end of September, after the company called a review of the business.
