The World: Detroit - McNabb leaves Nissan for job at rival

Nissan North America's senior vice-president of sales and marketing, Mark McNabb, has resigned unexpectedly. McNabb is believed to be moving to an unnamed Detroit car-maker.

An executive claimed McNabb had faced aggressive and unrealistic sales targets from his superiors at Nissan. McNabb first joined the car-maker in 1986. But in 2005 he resigned and within months joined Mercedes-Benz USA. He then rejoined Nissan in 2007.
