The World: Dublin - Maiden Outdoor takes over five-year CIE contract

Maiden Outdoor has won the advertising contract for CIE, Ireland's state-owned transport group that runs the Irish railway and a large proportion of the nation's bus network.

The contract will run for five years, with the possibility of renewal for a further five, and is valued at around EUR2 million a year. Viacom was the incumbent and had held the account for the past ten years.

The contract covers 11,000 road and rail billboards, the interior and exterior of commuter trains in the Dublin area and the rural bus network across Ireland.
