The World: Hamburg - Jung von Matt picks up Mercedes creative account

Mercedes-Benz has moved its above-the-line account out of Interpublic's Springer & Jacoby and into Jung von Matt.

The independent has resigned its BMW account to handle the business. It will start work on the account immediately.

Klaus Maier, the head of marketing for Mercedes, said: "Mercedes-Benz is the most valuable premium car brand in the world. With our new partner, we want to further its positive momentum through intelligent and effective communications."

The account moved to Springer & Jacoby in 1990.
