The World: Hong Kong - Incumbent DDB won't compete in MTR pitch

DDB, the long-term incumbent of MTR Corporation's advertising account, has confirmed that it will not take part in a review of the business.

MTR tendered the $17 million business last week, with a decision expected to follow in December.

The scope of work on the account includes branding strategic advice, account servicing, creative development, campaign production and implementation.

DDB regained the MTR account in 2001, just 12 months after losing it to FCB.

Despite the review, the agency will still retain some project work for the company.
