The World: Hong Kong - McCann scoops Nestea brief without a pitch

McCann Erickson has increased its grip on Coca-Cola's Hong Kong and Macau business by securing the company's Nestea portfolio without a pitch.

McCann is believed to have won the business from Lowe, WE Marketing and Ogilvy & Mather, which previously handled Nestea brands, including the premier Lemon Tea.

The switch is thought to have been prompted by McCann's launch of the Authentic Tea House, a new Nestea brand, in Hong Kong. Starcom will continue to handle media planning and buying for Nestea in the region.
