The World: Hong Kong - WPP goes on pan-Asian shopping spree

WPP has strengthened its position in Asia with four acquisitions.

In India, the network has obtained a majority stake in Ray Keshavan Design Associates - a Bangalore-based brand identity and design agency.

In China, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has acquired a 70 per cent share of the advertising agency Beijing Century Harmony Advertising.

Meanwhile, in South Korea, Wunderman has acquired two Seoul-based marketing service companies: SRP and ComHaus Korea.

The pan-Asian acquisitions aim to develop the group's networks in areas of high economic growth.
