The World: Jakarta - Pasco pitch sparks spat over green credentials

Environmentalists are poised to target agencies as part of a move to prevent what they call "environmental criminals" from launching phoney "green" marketing campaigns.

The warning comes from Ian Kosasih, the director of the World Wildlife Fund's forest programme in Indonesia.

He hinted action could be taken against agencies pitching for Pasco, a tissue brand made by Asia Pulp & Paper. Publicis, Lowe and Saatchi & Saatchi are contesting the account along with Lemonade, a local shop. APP's corporate social responsibility programmes are accused of being smokescreen projects.
