The World: Jakarta - Telecoms giant calls pitch for advertising account

Axis, one of the largest telecommunication companies in Indonesia, has ended its relationship with its creative agency of record, Lowe, and is holding a pitch for its ad account.

The company has approached a number of local and international agencies with a request for information, including JWT, BBDO and Publicis.

The successful agency will work on creating campaigns that help to raise awareness of the work Axis is doing to boost its network coverage.

In February, Axis also held a review of its $30 million media planning and buying business. The account was handed to ZenithOptimedia following a four-way pitch.
