The World: Johannesburg - Lowe Bull picks up Seat creative assignment

Volkswagen has handed Lowe Bull the creative duties for its Seat business as the car manufacturer prepares to launch the brand into the South African market.

The Ogilvy Group in South Africa handles the main VW and Audi accounts.

Mike Glendinning, the VW South Africa sales and marketing director, said Lowe Bull's appointment to the Seat account would not affect O&M's grasp on the rest of the business.

In 1986, VW Group bought a majority share in Seat, before making the brand a wholly owned subsidiary in 1990.
