The World: Kuala Lumpur - Burnett wins Petronas creative account

Leo Burnett & Arc Malaysia has won the creative account for Petronas, the oil and gas company based in Malaysia, after a five-way pitch.

The agency, which already has a relationship with the brand, saw off competition from M&C Saatchi, Grey, McCann Erickson and BBDO. The incumbent is the Malaysia-based Astana agency.

Malaysia will be the hub for the business, but Leo Burnett will work on local business, as well as adapt global campaigns across the brand's fuels and lubricants range.
