The World: Kuala Lumpur - Tourism body cuts roster on $44m account

Tourism Malaysia has streamlined the agency roster on its $44 million account. The move sees M&C Saatchi and TBWA\ISC strengthen their hold on the business within an agency roster that has been reduced from nine to four.

TBWA\ISC has been awarded the South African assignment while retaining the Europe business.

M&C Saatchi retains Oceania, which includes Australia and New Zealand, and gains responsibility for special events at the expense of Naga DDB.

Meanwhile, McCann Malaysia has withdrawn from a pitch for the youth and Malay marketing portion of DiGi, the wireless services provider, which has been an agency client since 2004. Grey, DDB International and JWT remain in contention for the assignment.
