The World: Los Angeles - Ari Weiss leaves Goodby to head 180 creative

180 Los Angeles has hired Ari Weiss, the creative director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, as its creative director.

In his new role, Weiss will be responsible for overseeing 180's creative output, working across brands including Adidas, Sony Consumer Electronics USA and MTV.

He will work closely with the agency's other creative director, William Gelner.

During his career, Weiss has worked on brands including Fox Sports, Guinness, Nike and ESPN.

He was also responsible for creating the iconic "There can only be one" campaign for the National Basketball Association.
