The World: Melbourne - Four shops fight for BMW creative account

BMW has announced a shortlist of four agencies to pitch for its creative advertising account in Australia.

The car-maker has given the incumbent, Badjar Ogilvy, the chance to repitch for the business, as well as shortlisting George Patterson Y&R, M&C Saatchi, and a joint pitch involving the strategy shop Naked and the creative agency Bulldozer.

An appointment will be made in January, with the successful agency being responsible for all brand work, as well as digital, retail and CRM activity.

Media planning and buying, currently handled by Mitchell & Partners, is unaffected by the review.
