The World: Melbourne - Nick Cleaver resigns from DDB Australia

Nick Cleaver (pictured), the chairman and chief executive of DDB Australia, is resigning his post, effective from March.

Martin O'Halloran, who is currently the chairman and chief executive of DDB New Zealand, will replace him, taking responsibility for both countries.

John Zeigler, the president and chief executive of DDB Asia-Pacific, said: "Cleaver has transformed DDB Australia from a leading advertising business into the country's pre-eminent integrated services provider in the communications industry. Nick will be missed, but his contribution to the growth and sophistication of DDB's Australian operation will long be remembered."
