The World: Miami - Seven agencies line up to bid for Carnival Cruise brief

Carnival Cruise Lines has earmarked seven agencies as possible contenders for the creative assignment on its account, which is worth between $70 million and $80 million.

The agencies are Euro RSCG, Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, BBDO, McCann Erickson and Deutsch in New York, Arnold in Boston and DraftFCB in Chicago. The Miami-based company is looking to consolidate its creative and media assignments within a single team. Creative agencies that do not have media or interactive departments will partner with other shops.

Carnival executives will visit agencies later this month before finalising a shortlist.
