Jane Lepkova, the former editor-in-chief at Russian Cosmopolitan, has been poached to edit the weekly publication, which will cost 25 roubles.
Half the content will be produced locally, with a strict policy against featuring any paparazzi photos.
The magazine will have an initial print run of 135,000 copies, and it will be available from 18,000 outlets across the country.
This will be the fifth launch in Russia by the publishers, who have licensed the title from the UK publisher Northern & Shell.
