The World: Moscow - Russians found to be the biggest social networkers

Russia has been named as the country with the world's most engaged social networking audience, in a new survey by comScore Europe.

The study showed that Russian users spend on average a total of 6.6 hours per month on social networking sites, viewing more than 1,300 pages.

Russia narrowly beat Brazil, where users spend an average of 6.3 hours per month on the sites, and Canada, where users are engaged for 5.6 hours per month.

The report also found that around two-thirds of global internet users, more than 734 million people, now access social networking sites on a monthly basis.
