The World: Mumbai - Starcom wins £6.5m Walt Disney India media brief

Starcom Mumbai has picked up the £6.5 million media planning and buying account for Walt Disney India.

The agency won the business after a pitch against undisclosed agencies and will be responsible for managing Walt Disney's media across all of the brand's Indian offering, which includes broadcasting, home entertainment and studio entertainment.

Starcom will work closely with Contract Advertising, which handles Walt Disney's creative account in India.

Starcom's Australian arm is also currently involved in a pitch against Carat for Walt Disney's media planning and buying business in Australia.
