Called Daily Mail Today, the first issue will launch on 26 November. As well as an in-depth news section, the paper will also carry a six- to nine-page section dedicated to women as well as features, entertainment, travel, celebrity and fashion news.
Aroon Purie, the chairman and editor-in-chief of India Today Group, said that the newspaper had been started to make a difference. She went on to say that a new middle class had evolved over the years that believes in a fair justice system, and that the newspaper would cater to that market.
