The World: New Delhi - Matchett becomes chief creative officer at JWT

Bruce Matchett, the former chief creative officer at Singleton Ogilvy & Mather in Australia, has been appointed the chief creative officer at JWT India.

Before joining Ogilvy, where he worked for four years on brands including Toohey's, Coca-Cola and BMW, Matchett worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in Australia.

He has also held positions in the UK and New Zealand.

Colvyn Harris, the chief executive officer of JWT India, said: "Matchett will provide freshness and a new sensibility to Indian advertising - something the industry really needs. We want our clients to continue to be market leaders and to lead in the standards they set."
