The World: New York - Bleustein-Blanchet to enter AAF's Hall of Fame

Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet, the founder of Publicis Groupe and the acknowledged father of French advertising, will be the first international adman to be inducted into the American Advertising Federation's Hall of Fame in its 59-year history.

Bleustein-Blanchet, who died in 1996, is being honoured along with two senior Omnicom figures - Keith Reinhard and Allen Rosenshine, the chairmen emeritus of DDB Worldwide and BBDO Worldwide respectively.

The other posthumous inductee will be Alan Pottasch. Before his death last year, he found fame as a creative consultant at Pepsi-Cola, where he inspired its "Pepsi Generation" work.
