The World: New York - Cliff Freeman chief executive Ruebensaal quits

Clayton Ruebensaal, the chief executive of Cliff Freeman & Partners, has quit the agency after just five months, citing personal reasons for his departure.

Ruebensaal joined Cliff Freeman in November last year from his position as the executive vice-president at BBDO.

During his time at Cliff Freeman, Ruebensaal oversaw the deal that allowed the agency to buy back a 20 per cent stake from the Canadian holding company MDC.

Under his leadership, the agency also secured the Saudi Arabian Airlines account in January.

Cliff Freeman, the agency's founder, will initially fill the chief executive role while a replacement is found.
