The World: New York - David Droga leaves Publicis to set up venture

David Droga (pictured), the Publicis worldwide chief creative officer, is leaving the network to set up a new creative venture, backed by his current employer.

Droga has been working on the project for the past three months with Maurice Levy, the chairman of Publicis Groupe. No further details have been released.

Droga said: "I am extremely proud of what we have achieved at Publicis, but I have reached a point in my career where I want to establish a blueprint for my own creative business. I am very excited about this new endeavour. But my first priority is to see through several large projects and ensure a smooth transition."
