The World: New York - DeCourcy takes over digital strategy at TBWA

TBWA\Worldwide has appointed Colleen DeCourcy to the newly created role of chief digital officer.

DeCourcy, who will be based in New York, will take responsibility for TBWA's digital strategy across a number of clients, including Nissan, Mars, Apple and Sony PlayStation.

She will report to Tom Carroll, the president of TBWA\Worldwide, and will be responsible for implementing global digital strategy across the TBWA\ and Tequila\ networks.

DeCourcy was previously the chief experience officer at JWT New York and was also the vice-president and chief creative officer at Omnicom's interactive agency Organic.

While there she worked extensively on the DaimlerChrysler account, pushing its digital and branded content.
