The World: New York - Deutsch NY appoints McCabe for strategy chief role

Mick McCabe has been hired as partner and chief strategy officer for Deutsch NY. McCabe joins from Leo Burnett, Chicago, where he was the executive vice-president, director of planning.

McCabe will report to Val DiFebo and will replace Jeffrey Wolf, who left the role of partner, director of account planning, Deutsch NY in November 2006.

McCabe will serve in a much larger role, managing not only strategic planning staff, qualitative and quantitative planning functions, but he will also collaborate with the agency's research and customer and data strategy disciplines to design clients' strategic marketing campaigns.
