The World: New York - Feakins takes chief creative officer job at Publicis

Publicis has poached Rob Feakins to become the president and chief creative officer of its New York office.

Feakins, 49, joins from Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York, where he was previously the executive creative director and vice-chairman.

During his five years at the agency, Feakins was part of a team that won $500 million in new business from clients including Timex, Panasonic and John Frieda.

Feakins will report to Bob Moore, the chief creative officer of Publicis USA. He joins the recently appointed Eric Cosper and Simeon Roane, previously of Publicis West in Seattle, who now hold the positions of vice-presidents and creative directors of Publicis New York.
