The World: New York - Fox reports $225m Super Bowl revenue bonanza

Fox is believed to have raked in $225 million in ad revenue from last weekend's Super Bowl.

The biggest audience in the final's 42-year history is believed to have watched the game in which the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots.

Industry sources said the revenue was generated by the network's four-hour pre-game show, the broadcast itself and an hour-long episode of Fox's drama House, which directly followed the game.
