The World: New York - Goodyear hands McCann $66m creative brief

Goodyear has handed McCann Erickson its $66 million creative account after the agency won a final shoot-out against Saatchi & Saatchi.

Arnold Worldwide held the business for just under a year before the pitch was called, but declined to repitch for it.

The review was called in August last year, six months after Goodyear appointed Joseph Viselli as its marketing director. He replaced Christopher Grindem, who was promoted to vice-president.

Media planning and buying remain with Media Planning Group, which has held the account since July 2004.
