The World: New York - Hardwick steps down as president of Grey

Steve Hardwick has left his post as the president of Grey, New York, after less than two years in the role.

Hardwick joined the agency in May 2007 from his position as the president of the independent shop StrawberryFrog in New York. Before that, he worked as an account director at Bates Worldwide and as the managing director of Bank of America Enterprise.

It is unclear what Hardwick intends to do next.

Grey's chairman and chief executive, Jim Heekin, will initially fill Hardwick's position at the 500-person agency while it searches for a permanent successor.
