The World: New York - Hayden moves to chief creative post at O&M

Ogilvy & Mather North America has appointed Steve Hayden, the vice-chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, as its chief creative officer after a management reshuffle.

In his new role, Hayden will be charged with evaluating Ogilvy's current creative structure and identifying key areas where the agency can improve its performance.

Chris Wall, who previously led creative work in New York, will now be responsible for a group of creatives on selected clients such as IBM and Ford, reporting to Hayden.

Other managerial changes include the retirement of David Apicella, the vice-chairman creative for North America. He will not be replaced.
