The World: New York - Lobby group report names P&G as 'best' advertiser

Procter & Gamble has been named the best advertiser on US TV, while Toyota is the "worst", according to a report that ranks companies on how often they sponsor family oriented shows as opposed to those containing violent, profane or sexually explicit material.

The report, compiled by the Parents Television Council lobby group, is based on advertisers' network primetime buys between October 2006 and May 2007.

Other companies on the "best" list with P&G include Walt Disney, Ford, Unilever, Viacom and McDonald's.
