The World: New York - Lowe defeats DDB to land $20m PwC business

PricewaterhouseCoopers has appointed Lowe as its global creative agency following a pitch against DDB.

Lowe's New York chairman, Mark Wnek, confirmed the agency's appointment to the account, which sources indicate is worth around $20 million.

The Interpublic Group agency beat DDB to the business after the agencies were shortlisted from a field of five that pitched to the professional services company in New York last month.

Lowe will now carry out all creative duties for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previously, the company worked with creative agencies on a project basis, with Initiative handling US media duties.
