The five brands to move are Band-Aid, Reach, Stayfree, K-Y and Monistat. It is thought the business will be split among J&J's roster agencies including DDB, JWT and Lowe. The deal is not believed to affect J&J's relationships outside the US.
The news comes as J&J's global media review reaches its conclusion. The four shortlisted networks are IPG's Initiative and Universal McCann, Omnicom's OMD and Aegis Group's Carat. A decision is expected next week.
