The World: New York - McCann hands Allen and McLaren top account jobs

McCann Worldgroup has picked Kevin Allen (pictured) and Michael McLaren to fill the newly created roles of worldwide directors of global accounts.

The pair will oversee relationships with multinational clients and ensure they result in seamless communications solutions from across all the group companies.

McLaren, 41, a New York-based Australian, joined McCann in 1999 and is a former worldwide account director on the network's global Microsoft business. Allen, 50, who works in London, was previously the chief growth officer at McCann's Interpublic parent.
