The World: New York - Miller calls pitch for $250 million media business

The Miller Brewing Company has put its $250 million media planning and buying account into review.

MindShare and Carat are pitching for the business against Starcom Chicago, the incumbent for the past nine years.

SABMiller, the client's parent company, said its practice of periodically reviewing its agency relationships led to the pitch.

Internally, the review is being handled by Bob Brennan, the director of strategic projects and former Starcom executive, and Dave Genel, the company's media director.

The review will not affect the creative roster shops Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, The Martin Agency and Mother.
